performance – Performancesaga-Festival, Theater Arsenic, Lausanne 2009
the site is a classic stage, a black box. on the floor there are several woolen blankets, waterbottles, a camping stove, a pan, a letter and some tea candles. the techdesk is placed on stage so I can manipulate videosrceening, audioequipment and the lights at ease. i enter the stage, sing the intro to a song ('voy pal norte', by calle 13) and welcome the audience. i change the light, start dancing, but stop and switch off the music before the song is over. I cross the room, start moving and refolding the piles of blankets. ..then i start the videoprojection on the black wall, showing the outside of the Arsenic, taken the day before. again i move and pile the blankets. also i read a letter aloud, then going to the cooker to put water on. with a stagelight in my hands i stroll through the room and let the sideroom shine up in green. mp3 zapping; several pieces are tipped on. i pour hot water in a glass, drink, read a poem, 'l'lnvitation au voyage'' by Baudelaire. subsequently i switch off all lights, go to the window and open the black curtain. the outside of Arsenic gets visible, enters on stage...

el sitio es el escenario clásico, un cubo negro. en el piso hay varias mantas de lana, botellas de agua, un hornillo de acampada, una olla, una carta y unas velas. el tecdesk está en el escenario, para que yo pueda dirijir el vídeo, el sonido y la luz. subo al escenario, canto el intro de "voy pal norte" de Calle 13 y saludo al público. cambio la iluminación, empiezo a bailar, pero antes de terminar la canción, la paro. cruzo el espacio, empiezo a mover, doblar, disponer nuevamente las mantas... después proyecto el vídeo a la pared negra, mostrando una toma del exterior del Arsenic del dia anterior. de nuevo ordeno las mantas. seguido leo una carta, voy al hornillo y pongo agua, me muevo por el espacio con un foco de teatro en las manos y ilumino el cuarto trasero en verde. Manejo el mp3; empiezo varias canciones. vierto el agua caliente en un vaso, bebo, leo el poema 'l'invitiation au voyage' de Baudelaire. después apago todas las luces, me approxima a la ventana y retiro la cortina negra. el exterior del Arsenic queda visible y entra en el escenario.
