in my work with video, i distinguish video pieces from video pictures. the first type has limited times, while the second, i call them ‚moving pictures’, are loops of video-sequencies. the videopictures are available as a DVD-edition and can be reproduced anywhere individually, in public or privately on screens or as projections. i’m installing these pictures myself in different local and conceptual contexts. i’m interested in the private and the puclic space as projection areas. i developed these pictures out of the desire to watch the same thing repeatedly and uninteruptedly during a while, to sink deeper in my thoughts and then to reappear somewhere else. (> INSTALLATIONS ) en mi trabajo con vídeo estoy distingiendo video piezas y vídeo imagenes. mientras las primeras estan limitadas en duración, los segundos - los llamo también cuadros en movimiento - son cintas continuas de sequencias con longitudes variadas. las vídeoimagenes estan disponibles como edición en DVD y pueden estar reproducidos individualmente, en espacio público o privado, en pantalla o como proyección en cualquier lugar. yo mismo monto estas imagenes en distintos contextos locales como conceptuales. estoy interesado el espacio privado y público como soporte de proyección. he desarrollado estas imagenes a partir de mi deseo de contemplar repetidamente y ininterumpido lo mismo durante un tiempo, de sumergirme en pensamientos y de emerger finalmente en otro lugar.
